How to find us | Where to park

By train

Frequent service from Birmingham New Street to Kings Norton. A five-minute walk down the hill along Pershore Road. Look for the church spire on the right. We’re next door.

By bus

18, 45, 49, 84, 145, 146 to Kings Norton Primary School/The Green, then two minutes' walk. For routes and times, visit Network West Midlands or, for public transport details, call Traveline on 0871 200 2233.

From the M42

Turn north at Junction 2. Follow the A441 towards Birmingham City Centre. At the fourth traffic island turn first left immediately into The Green.

From Birmingham City Centre

Drive south along the A441, Pershore Road. Go through Cotteridge. Pass Kings Norton station on your right. At the next roundabout take the 4th exit, turning right into The Green.

From the M6

Turn off at Junction 6 and follow the signs for Cadbury World. Continue past Cadbury World to Cotteridge. Go straight ahead at the two mini roundabouts on the A441. Pass Kings Norton station on your right. At the next roundabout take the 4th exit, turning right into The Green.

By Bike or Boat

Saint Nicolas' Place is very near the Rea Valley Cycle Path and Kings Norton Junction on the Worcester & Birmingham and Stratford canals.

Parking

There is a pay-and-display car park adjacent to Saint Nicolas' Place. There is limited public and disabled parking on a first come, first served basis on The Green. There is free public parking at Kings Norton Playing Fields on Pershore Road South, five minutes' walk away. Click here for more details.

Coaches

Very limited access and parking. Please make arrangements with us well before your visit.

Opening Hours

The Tea Room and Gift shop are open Tuesday to Saturday 10.00 am until 3.00 pm. Viewing of the rooms for a booking can be arranged at a convenient time for you. The building is open at various times through out the week dependent upon events and bookings. Our Guided Tours are available on Friday and Saturday at 11am and 2pm. Group tours can be booked at various times through out the week dependent upon events and bookings.

Disabled access

All our rooms have disabled access with lift access to all floors. We also have 3 disabled toilets. Unfortunately, our Old Grammar School upper floor does not have disabled access, but the lower floor does.
